John Jackson Judge

November 2, 1942 - August 29, 2018

Surrounded by his loving family, John Jackson Judge peacefully entered eternal rest on August 29th, 2018. He was 75 years old. Born on November 2nd, 1942 in Scotland Neck NC, he was the son of the late Ernest Judge and Bessie Stevenson. John, a loving husband, father and friend, touched many with his abundant humor and kind heart. John was employed by Electric Boat, General Dynamics in West Milton. After 30 yrs, he retired from his position as company foreman in 1997. He was a member of The Ancient Free & Accepted Mason of North Carolina. John, an avid gardener, supplied his family/friends with fresh fruit and vegetables every summer. An outdoor enthusiast, John loved to snowmobile and ride his ATV with his daughter and friends. He was passionate about his woodworking skills. John created beautiful furniture pieces. His talent extended to home construction; he worked as the general contractor on his own home and his daughter’s home. These accomplishments will forever serve as part of his legacy. John owned and loved animals; his dog Peanut, and his bird Taco will miss his loving care. John is survived by his wife of 48 yrs, Linda Schmuck Judge and his daughter Belinda Deluca; he was lovingly devoted to both. He is also survived by his brother Barry Judge of Scotland Neck, NC. He was predeceased by his brother Nicholas Judge. Family and friends may call from 5-7PM on Thursday September 6, 2018 at the Tunison Funeral Home 105 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY. 12866. A service at 7pm will follow at the funeral home. Memorial donation in his memory will be accepted by Esterville Animal Shelter, 100 Russell Rd, Greenfield, NY 12833
