Saratoga Springs, NY Rosalind Arnush formerly of Los Angeles California and currently of Prestwick Chase, Saratoga Springs, died Sunday June 16, 12013 at Wesley Health Care center. She was 84 years old. Born on November 13, 1928 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Charles Can Houten and Frances Greenwald Houten. Mrs. Arnush was a teacher in the New York City School system until 1966. Rosalind had a passion for Art and Art history, she worked at the University of Phoenix as a Docent and also the Docent program at Cal St. Fullerton A docent is a teacher and tour guide, serving the Museum and the community in the field of art education. Along with providing continuing education in art to its individual members, the Museum's Docent Program contributes in a variety of ways to art education. In her leisure, Rosalind enjoyed traveling with her family and also by herself. She had traveled most of the world. Mrs. Arnush is pre deceased by her husband Mortimer Arnush who died on May 19, 1990. She is also pre deceased by a brother Robert Van Houten. Survivors include her two sons, Michael D. Arnush of Los Angeles, CA, and Michael F. Arnush and his wife Leslie of Saratoga Springs, NY, a sister in-law Terry Arnush of Palos Verdes, CA, and three grandchildren, Nicole Fay, Hannah Louise and Maxine Rose and an ex daughter in law Ruth Arnush. Graveside services will be held at ? at Hillside Cemetery Los Angeles, CA on Thursday June 18, 2013 Memorial donations can be made in her memory to ?
